It’s time for TRIO’s 2nd Annual Dolly Parton Birthday Party & Book Drive!
In honor of Dolly’s birthday and all of her philanthropic work surrounding children’s literacy, we are partnering with the Imagination Library and United Way of Grays Harbor and are hosting a birthday celebration and book drive. We are asking the campus community for new or gently used children’s books (all ages) and we will be donating them to a local charity/organization here in the Harbor to distribute. We will be accepting book donations through the end of January. You can bring book donations anytime to the TRIO SSS office in Spellman 1512.
We will be celebrating Dolly with a big birthday party to kick off the week, on Tuesday, January 21st! Please join us for fun activities and tasty treats that day and throughout the whole week. We will have fun activities to participate in – crafts, games, sweet treats. Dolly may show up in person!
